2nd Annual Las Vegas Springs Preserve Brews & Blues Festival ...
Ice cold beer and smoking hot blues will be on tap as the Springs Preserve presents the second annual Brews & Blues Festival.
Sample beers from a wide range of microbreweries, follow it up with plenty of good food, then wash it all down with some of the rockin’est blues bands this side of the Mississippi Delta.
Participating brewers to date include New Belgium, Widmer Brothers, Kona, Sierra Nevada, Redhook, Gordon Biersch, Shiner, Wasatch and Settlers, Maui, Coronado, BJ’s, Knee Deep, BridgePort, Joseph James, Tenaya Creek, Boulder Dam, Chicago Brewing Co., Big Dog’s and Triple 7. And the list keeps growing!
Five local and regional bands are scheduled to perform on two stages:
3 – 4:15 p.m.: Chris Tofield (Main Stage) 4 – 5 p.m.: Bluesology (Gardens Stage) 4:45 – 6 p.m.: Lucky Cheats (Main Stage) 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.: Slim Henry (Gardens Stage) 6:30 – 8 p.m.: The Forty Fours (Main Stage)Each person in attendance will receive a 12-ounce commemorative mug (while supplies last) and unlimited samples of dozens of craft brews. Food will be available for purchase at kiosks and in the Springs Cafe by Wolfgang Puck.
